The coming together of the wild flamingo and the woman and the forming an unlikely bond that is beyond all limitations of language is delineated in this painting. It showcases a visceral connection that is beyond what mere words could convey and it is a connection which is beyond the ordinary or the expected. Moreover, the trees are conjured with deep orange, grey and black hues which one may infer as fire, or energy, thus presenting a wild ruthless side of nature, infer that the different birds are representative of the different personalities and their distinctive identities borne by the tree. Here there is yet again an amalgamation of the natural and the man made - from the tree, the birds, the blue and green colours and the cliff falling in the category of the 'natural' and the wall as well as the lighthouse in the background falling in the category of the 'man made'.
