Ravi kumar hailing from rural Karnataka, Ravi Kumar’s first love is nature. He is very concerned about the environmental pollution caused by mindless urbanisation. The depletion of the environment has triggered a series of works on the subject. In 2007, he acquired his Post Graduate Diploma from the Department of Visual Art, Bangalore University. Had he not become an artist, Ravi Kumar would have almost certainly become a farmer. His love for the Earth is so strong that his works emanate this quality of his personality.
