Description
Too Old, Too Young is part of a larger collection of photo-poems called Somewhere in the World, created by Bernadette and Philip. Berny takes pictures and Philip writes poems. They have combined their individual art forms to create a new, hybrid art – the photo-poem. While Berny’s photos depict life in Europe, Philip’s poems speak of universal, often elusive, emotions. Somewhere in the World is thus a reminder of the power of art to unite us, as opposed to the power of ideology to divide us.
In this photograph, we see a carousel near the Notre-Dame, Paris. Nearly every park and public square features one. Some say there are nearly 60 carousels in the city.
This photo-poem comes with an additional 1.5 inches of blank space on all sides, to allow for framing. The framed image shown here is only for reference. The final product will be only the printed photo-poem on archival paper, rolled.
