My paintings capture the dichotomy on canvas, whilst adding a pictorial wit and satirical vein. My artworks depict the various faces of India, Lifestyles - past and present. My technique involves four layers of color to acquire clarity whilst avoiding gaudiness. I paint in the figurative style, dealing with flat bright polished surfaces with an extraordinary plethora of intricately worked details.
