Description
in this painting, the man/woman who has been craving for wings is now seen away from the presence of wings. The wing is right there at the right edge of the painting. Both of them like Narcissus, see their reflections on the water. In this painting, one could see four images, two of the protagonist, one erect and the other upturned in the reflection and the other of the wings, one straight and the other upturned. This painting also shows the self-absorption of the artist as the medium that negotiates the idea of wings;(JOHNY M. L.)
