Word Garba means a lamp in the clay pot which has several holes in it. Symbolically it is a Garbh ( Womb) in mother's stomach.
To show the face in the painting was essential to express mother's peaceful, calm emotions with eyes closed, happily praying for her forthcoming child to Maa Durga.
The light coming out from clay pot on her face and clothes. She is wearing a jewelry in ears and necklace. I have used warm colors in the dark background to show prominent light source coming out of garbo ( Clay pot with lamp inside) to depict positive energy removing darkness of the life.
