Come monsoons, and I immediately think about the beautiful peacock, dancing in the rain, with its luscious tail trailing behind it. I painted this with carefree abandon, defying all rules of watercolour painting. Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful birds in the world, it is not surprising that the Peacock was anointed as the national bird of India. Peacocks are considered very sacred, powerful and symbol of good fortune.
