Description
This painting, characteristically displays many contrasting elements, the most obvious one being the flamboyant, spontaneous pose of the woman at the foreground and the apparently premeditated 'confidential' meeting between the two men at the background. While the woman appears to be a free spirit, cocooned in solitude and euphoria, the men appear to be engaged in something rather clandestine.
A highly unconventional element in the painting are the orange doves - a rare bird, meant to give the painting an edge.
Apart from this, the circular structures within the painting are indicative of the circle of life.
The blending of the many different colours in sets of two throughout the painting is intended to not only reinforce the contrasting elements in the painting, but also to make it appear more vibrant and aesthetically pleasing.
