My deep connection with India is evident in my artwork, this art piece adds on to my portrayal of India. This a still life on tinted paper by using Poster Paints. Being close to my sister I have always helped her increase her collections of Old Indian Currency and Stamps. Recently due to demonetization in India she had removed her collection box to manage it, and this is where I developed my idea of painting a still life using Indian Currency. I arranged some of the notes and coins from her collection of different shapes and sizes on a plain paper and then created a live still life.
