With a KGCE in Fine Art Painting (1996), a National Diploma in Fine Arts, Sculpture from the R.L.V College, Thrippunithara, Kerala, a BFA and an MFA in Painting from M. G. University, Prakasan is the 2006 winner of the Kerala State Lalithakala Puraskkaram (Painting). Having participated in numerous group exhibitions and art camps – most recent of which was the 56th National Art Exhibition at the Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi – he held his first solo show of paintings and drawings at the Art Gallery, Kozhikode.
