Brief Background Born and brought up in the beautiful valley of Dehra Dun surrounded by picturesque hills of the Himalayan range in Northern India, Shabnam Anand graduated in Textile Design from New Delhi in 1978. Soon after, she set up home in England, and took up a designing position in a textile design studio in London.
