I am inspired by the complex and beautiful patterns in nature at all levels and also try to celebrate the harmony, beauty, and chaos of nature all around us. I enjoy painting both large cosmic bodies in space, as well as patterns of microscopic particles seen only by the scientific world. I am particularly interested in journeys: the journey of water in clouds, or in rivers; I see movement and growth as a sign of life, and as a symbol of energy. There ...
