Born in 1975, Gautam is an award-winning artist from The Government College of Art & Craft, Kolkata. An extremely popular painter of this city, Gautam is known for his vibrant and fast brush strokes, which give movement and vigour to his canvasses, be they of beautiful women folk, cityscapes, or religious-mythological figures. In this small but poignant canvas the artist combines the delicacy of watercolours with the vibrancy of acrylics.
