About Artist

My name is Ashis Kabasi. My twin brother Debashis and I were born in 1965. At very young age, my brother and I were diagnosed with deaf-mutism. But nature rewarded us with artistic talents, and both of us worked hard for our passion in arts. We studied in Govt. College of Art and Craft and later on from the prestigious Visva Bharti University, Shantiniketan.
